This small ring dish is made of black palm wood. Black palm is native to South and Central America. It is abundant in the area of the Panama Canal, It has lots of local common names, my favorite is chumba wumba. This wood is turning a bundle of broom straw but the result is worth it. Food safe, natural, oil finish.
